| At Terra Breads we are committed to maintaining the high quality of our bread. Using traditional artisan baking methods developed over thousands of years, we mix quality ingredients and natural starters in a slow-rise process. This transforms the flour and grains into flavourful and nutritious breads with a well developed structure of a beautiful crust and a moist interior. In this hands-on process we carefully watch and feel the doughs as they change in the varying ambient conditions of each day. After rising, our breads are baked in stone-hearth ovens at each of our bakeries—and are available in a variety of shapes and sizes: loaf, demi-loaf, baguette, demi-baguette, ficelle, fougasse (ladder bread) and rolls. For a softer crust, try our Challah or Italian Cheese bread. Many of our breads are made with certified organic ingredients. We gladly slice. |
